I met Amit in 2024 for SAT coaching and it was obvious to me: he is like no other teacher. He is brutally honest. There is no sugarcoating. He is the most “real” person I have ever met. I had plateaued with the brand name SAT services (1350 after four exams), but Amit pushed me to a 1480 in 10 hours of lessons. I had procrastinated studying for the SAT during the 2024 summer and I don’t think I would have gotten my score, especially my 780 math, without Goat Academics and Amit’s 1-on-1 teaching style. The math finally made sense, and I was able to apply the aggressive test taking tips I learned. I only wish I had started sooner for the reading!

My family spent tons of $$ on college services, yet I asked Amit for some advice on essays. After one talk with Amit and Vinit, I insisted to my parents that we use Goat Academics for essay help. I worked with Amit on live editing calls and it made me want to improve each and every time. He is one hundred times better than the name brand services. The editing sessions were personal, hectic, awesome, and unlike any other class. He kept pushing me to perfect my essays, not just settle for “good enough.” I have to say at times it was almost frustrating, but it was 100% worth it in the end. The level of detail Amit forced me to come up with opened my eyes to what is possible for me and how strong my writing voice can be.

Amit is the most fun tutor. I got the chance to have some lessons in person and he even taught me ping pong tips AND tennis tips better than my coaches just randomly! He still stays on my case about “senioritis” and my grades this year (12th grade, straight As) are better than they have ever been. In 2025, I’ll be attending the incredible engineering program at Virginia Tech.

Amit is someone I am lucky to have in my life. The best mentor I have ever had. I can’t say enough good things to say about this process so I’ll just say this: I have gotten my parents to work with Amit for my younger brother and he’s only in fifth grade. A coach forever.

You are the best: Amit, Vinit, and Tanvi!
